Valentine's Work and Blog Hop!

Valentine's activities have started!  We love Love Day!

Butterfly has been busy busy making all sorts of cards and hearts for her friends.  We are hosting a Valentine's Day Party at our house with all our homeschooling friends, so we have been busy getting ready for the big day!

I've been setting out hearts, card-making materials, and stickers galore for Butterfly to create.  I love it that this year she has taken total control on making her friends' valentines, no more Mommy crafting them for her!

She has gotten pretty creative and has also crafted some "love bracelets" to hand out to her amigos!

Butterfly's basket is full of love to pass out next week!

In addition, I have brought out all our fun V-day materials.  I set out two trays full of hearts, heart gems, containers, trays, mini pails, a jar, for her to play and manipulate with.  Last year we used these items for Tot Trays,  for a sensory bin and fine motor skills work  and  for sorting activities  and  for a melting hearts ice cube game.  But this year she is older to choose to use these materials in her own creative ways.

We brought out our decorations to decorate the house with for Love Day and our Party!

And then we worked on some of Jolanthe's Valentine's Day Printables!

Here are some peeks at Butterfly's work using this awesome printable pack.

We used our Bananagrams to help build the Valentine's vocabulary words.

Butterfly did pretty good at copying out each word, I'm so proud of her following each letter!

We store all the work in a red lapbook folder, just loosely inside,

and decorated the front with more Valentine's stickers!

Now come join the Valentine Ideas Blog Hop and link up what you've been doing for
Love Day!
