We're back to Friday Art Class!
This week Butterfly learned about Cave Drawings. The kids studied all sorts of pictures, naming the animals they saw, talking about using sharp tools on the rocks to make the pictures, and how these pictures tell a story.
The related art: The kids did their own cave drawings!
They used a flattened piece of grey plasticine and a pile of different drawing tools.
Then the kids found out how to take cave drawings home once discovered, by rubbing transfers!
Using transfer plates, paper, and the sides of crayons, Butterfly rubbed until the images appeared on her paper!
A very interesting art class this week for sure!
