Christmas Muffin Tin!

My post is a little late today but we had a fabulous Kindergarten Homeschool Playdate this morning that we attended, so when we got home I put together this Christmas Muffin Tin lunch for Butterfly!

I bought these shiny red foil muffin cups from the Michael's craft store, which I turned inside out to make the cups red.  Inside the cups- a whole wheat grained piece of bread cut into a tree shape, with butter and apple sauce spread on top, and then a green icing string to decorate!  A candy cane piece of cheese, mashed butternut squash with a dash of Paprika, spiced Potato balls, Strawberry yogourt with Christmas tree and red sprinkles, and grapes.  I used the Cake Mate icing tubes to decorate the tin with red and green dots for extra pretty! And of course a green cup of milk with a red swirly straw, and a fun cow spoon to eat with!

Butterfly ate this one all up!!

  2. The idea of turning the liners inside out is simple, but so smart and I don't think I would ever have thought of it on my own. Decorating the tin with dots of icing really adds to the festive mood too! Great Christmas tray!

  10. I've always meant to do this for my toddler, but lunch is often rushed because I wait till the last minute. This is adorable for Christmas.
