Ocean Lapbook

We have started our new theme, a very Summer-y unit:  Oceans!

Here is our Lapbook:

Great worksheets for the back pocket.

1+1+1=1 made Ocean Calendar cards, I made them into fact booklets;  printed on card, laminated, hole-punched and on a ring.  Match up the corresponding number to read the ocean facts to go with the picture!

Here are the Resources for all the free Ocean Printables:

  1. I'm very interested in lapbooking but haven't tried it yet. I'm wondering where you get various lapbooking printouts & materials from. Also, I'm interested in how you created that back pocket, I haven't seen that on any lapbooks before.

    Great job!

  2. Hi Kimmybeth! Awhile ago, I made a post all about Lapbooking, check it out with this link:

I include all the resource sites on my entries on where I get the free printables, that I use for my lapbooks, like I did on this entry (bottom of entry, all the sites are listed- just click on them to get the printouts.)

Lapbooks can be created in anyway you want to hold the Unit's information. I thought it would be fun to have a back pocket to hold all those great extra worksheets. I cut another blue file folder in half and used it's half for the pocket. I hole punched holes and just simply weaved a ribbon through the extra blue file folder side to make a pocket!
