MTM & The Trip Clip!

Butterfly's Muffin Tin has a cup of milk with a fancy straw, sweet potato pancakes (Recipe for this can be found HERE on the Wholesome Baby Food site, I made them when she was a baby and she still loves them.  I make big batches and freeze them for anytime), a yogourt, pear slices, penne pasta and sauce, and cheese curds.

Muffin Tin Monday at
Muffintinmom.com
Also, with her meal, Butterfly has been enjoying her new Trip Clip!

Check out that awesome face she drew in, on this activity page.  (Apparently that's the character's "teeth") heheh.

We have had the privilege of reviewing The Trip Clip!
Let me say how AWESOME of an idea this is!!!

My 3.5 year old daughter is addicted to the activities and using it wherever she goes, and I'm addicted to the fact of how busy this keeps her when we have to get things done or go out and about.

The boards are a 6x9 size, such a perfect size for little hands.  They are SO sturdy and strong, and the clip seems to be unbreakable with the kid-abuse it's been through already.  (And whether your clipboard was lost or broken, they offer one free replacement clipboard per customer.)

It comes with a cool 4-colour pen, each pen has red/blue/black/green ink, that you can click down which colour you want.  You get to choose the colour of your clip board and your pen.  The pen is on a string, attached to the board, no more "I've lost my pen or dropped my pen in the car or store," even the pen attaches to the top of the board with velcro!

The set is $19.95 USD and you get "activity credits" which gives you access to the activities online on The Trip Clip site, in which you can print them out as many times as you want.  You will get 5 Activities of your choice included with your initial purchase, if you want to add more Activities to your account, you can purchase additional Activity Credits at any time (5 activities for $4.95 USD).

You can load up your child's board before heading out to the store, restaurant, car trip, appointments, anywhere you go.  It occupies your child(ren) with educational and creative-thinking activities for preschoolers up to age 10!  Some activities are a customized grocery list, customized Bingo games, themed word searches, creative stories, colouring pages, customized chores and checklists, customized driving directions, and fun popular ones like sudoku, crosswords, mazes, hangman, tic tac toe, and so many more, including a new activity set Drawing Clips where the child really has to use their creative juices to fill in the pictures!  Love it!!!

You can choose, pick, customize your activities, then add them to your Printing Queue.  Once your done choosing the activities for the clipboard, you just click Print!  They are perfectly sized to print out two to a page, just cut the sheets in half and you are ready to load up your child's board!  And let's say you're in a hurry, The Trip Clip even has a "In a Hurry!" feature, activities already quickly listed for a quick print!

Molly, the inventor of The Trip Clip,  being a mom of two boys, has thought of everything! She knows what makes life easy for a Mom on the go!  (By the way, Molly has awesome customer service too- promptly answering emails and inquiries and happy to please and help at anytime!)

We have used our Trip Clip in the car mostly; here's Butterfly intently colouring her picture in a car ride.  She loves clicking down different colours from that small chubby easy-to-hold pen.  We have also used the clipboard at restaurants while waiting for our food to be served. It's great at the grocery store; we print out a customized list of pictured items (great for non readers) that we need and that she can find at the store and check off with us- she doesn't get bored on an errand, but rather involved with the shopping!  And of course she's used it with her Muffin Tin meal at the table (yes, I know, no toys at the table, but it allowed me to get all the dishes done as it kept her doubly occupied! hehe).  Butterfly has also used it in imaginary play as her "work" by carrying around her clipboard writing down notes, pretending to be a busy professional! :)

Do you want to WIN a Trip Clip of your own?!!
Wahoo! I love this part!  One lucky reader gets to win a clipboard and pen (and you get to choose the colour of your board and pen!), plus 20 credits for printable activities that you can use as many times as you want!!!

  19. Those are totally cute!! I know two girls who will be getting those for Christmas, whether I win or not. Just in time for our big drive to Florida.

But for the contest, I think I'd start with the green clipboard.

  21. First of all, great muffin tin. I have got to check out the recipe for the sweet potato pancakes. Yum. And I wouldn't consider the Trip clip a toy, nothing wrong with something like that at the table. Unless of course your daughter is anything like my almost 3 year old who constantly spills her drink.
Can't wait to check it out and come back to enter for the giveaway. Thanks.
