Earth Day/ Easter Cupcakes!!

Two "E" occasions this week, "Earth Day" and "Easter".
I decided to combine them into one cupcake to share with our friends!!

With vanilla cake batter, I divided it in half and coloured half blue and half green.
Check out the fancy mess on the stovetop, hehe, that's because I took both spoons, full of batter at the same time, and drizzled them in different directions in each muffin cup...

...Which made "earthy" looking batter in the cups!
In this dozen, I used Easter paper cups...

... In this pan I used Spring flower cups, and tried a toothpick in the batter, "swirling" around the blue and green colours for more of an land and water random mix for Earth.

Out of the oven!  Earth Cupcakes!!

This is what they look like inside, a nice land and water mix!

Then a swirly dollop of fluffy white icing on top makes for a nice cloud on the Earth cakes!

Decorate them in Easter style....

Our friends and neighbours, Butterfly and her friends, enjoyed the Earth Day-Easter Cupcakes!!

  5. So cute! I made Earth Day cupcakes last year for every kindergarten student at my daughter's school. There was LOTS of baking and zero frosting, but the kids loved them anyway. :)
