Muffin Tin Monday, Christmas Garland & G Books!

Today's lunch theme is RED and GREEN!

Butterfly has recently learnt that Christmas has it's own favourite colours too!  Christmas colours are red and green!

I made her red milk too- well, it's pink really, but made with red syrup!

We've got red cherry tomatoes, green cucumbers, red raspberry jam toast, green kiwis, red strawberries, and I dyed her yogurt green! with a red spoon!

Today, we also made the old fashion tree garlands with our good friends.  With cranberries and popcorn it looks so old-fashion pretty!

We decided where it would look best-- out in nature on our new little maple tree we just planted this past summer.

This will be our Christmas gift to the birds that come and visit us! :)

Now that's it's G week (and number 7), here are our G Books we'll be reading.
(I've limited our letter bin books this week because now that it's one week until Christmas I want us to get in more of our Christmas book bin, reading the Christmas stories!)

  • Ginger the cat
  • Curious George
  • Geraldine's Big Snow
  • Goodnight Moon
  • The Berenstein Bear's Get the Gimmies (great story for around this time as the "getting" and the "gifting" gets excessive and all those new toy commercials have been bringing up a lot of the "gimmies!")
  • Green Eggs and Ham
  • Go, Dog, Go!

  1. Love the color theme! Looks so tasty! My daughter loves when I color her food, but I'm usually too lazy!
    Great book ideas too!
